Six residential houses and a shop were damaged in different fire incidents across the valley, police said on Tuesday evening
In Ganderbal, fire broke out in a joint residential house of Bashir Ahmad Ganie, Mushtaq Ahmad Ganie, Parvez Ahmad Ganie and Abdul Rashid Ganie, sons of Mohammad Yousuf at Larson, resulting in damage to the house.
In Handwara, fire broke out in the residential house of Ghulam Mohi-u-din Malik, son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Ganastan, resulting in damage to the house.
In Islamabad, fire broke out in the house of Indernath Bhat, son of Prem Nath Bhat resident of Uttersoo, Achabal, resulting in complete damage to the house.
Meanwhile, fire broke out in a residential house belonging to Mohammad Shaban Mir, son-in-law of Abdul Rahim Mir at Methmoo, Chittergul, resulting in partial damage to the house.
In another incident, fire broke out in a residential house belonging to Mohammad Shaban Mir, son-in-law of Abdul Rahim Mir at Methmoo, Chittergul, resulting in partial damage to the house.
In another incident, fire broke out in a residential house belonging to Naseer Ahmad Malik, son of Ghulam Hassan Malik, a resident of Hallan, Chogan, Dooru Islamabad resulting in complete damage to the house.
In Srinagar, fire broke out in a shop of Parvaiz Ahmad Sofi, son of Ghulam Nabi Sofi, resident of Islam Yarbal, Zaina Kadal at Islam Yarbal Zaina Kadal, resulting in complete damage to the shop.
Fire tenders with the assistance of police and locals brought fire under control.
Four Injured in Road Mishap
Four persons were injured in a road accident in Kulgam.
A vehicle bearing registration number JK02AT/0731 and a Tavera bearing registration number JK03D/0915 collided near Vesoo Steep, Mir Bazar Kulgam, resulting in injuries to four persons boarding in Tavera vehicle.
All the injured were shifted to Hospital for treatment.
