Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday visited the shrine of Sufi saint Hazrat Khawaja Moin-ud-Din Chishti. She paid obeisance at the shrine and prayed for peace, prosperity and wellbeing of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, an official spokesman said.

Later, the Chief Minister also interacted with a number of devotees who had come from J&K and appealed them to pray for the state and its people.

Earlier on her arrival at Jaipur, the Chief Minister was received by Minister for PWD in Rajasthan Government, Younis Khan; chairman and members of State Minorities Commission and senior officers of Rajasthan Government.

Chief Minister, who is on a three day visit to the national capital, called on the President, Mr Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan earlier in the day. She briefed him about various issues pertaining to the Jammu and Kashmir.
