Abu Zar (RA) Charitable trust Friday started a two months free coaching class for 8th, 9th, and 10th standard students in Srinagar.
The classes will be held in Islamia High School Rajouri Kadal.
The inaugural session was attended by Prof AR Khan, Prof Dil Muhammad Makhdoomi, Prof G M Khan, General Secretary Anjumane-e-Nusratul Islam, Ibrahim Shah. and Chairperson of Abu Zar (RA) trust Altaf Ahmad.
“This is a beginning and we are planning many other free coaching centres across Srinagar,” Chairperson of the trust, Altaf Ahmad, said.
Classes were inaugurated by Prof A R Khan and the function was moderated by Dr Dil Muhammad Makhdoomi.
Nearly 42 students were given free admission today on the spot.
Notably, Abu Zar trust has been such social activities ofr long now. Recently, it held a medical camp where patients were treated upon by doctors and free medicine was distributed among them. Also, the trust, monetarily helped around 40 marginalised students at a government run school in Old Srinagar.
