SRINAGAR: Following the commencement of preliminary photography for their upcoming film in Mumbai, director Kabir Khan and his team are set to embark on a journey to Kashmir to capture the picturesque locales for their project, mid day reported.
The film, featuring the talented Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, is based on the extraordinary true story of an unsung hero, and its production necessitates extensive preparations, both emotionally and physically.
While the actors are engrossed in intensive workshops and reading sessions, the filmmaker, accompanied by his core crew, will venture to Kashmir to conduct some essential additional filming.
An insider revealed to mid day, “Kashmir will play a pivotal role in the later stages of the film. Currently, Kartik and the rest of the team are fully engaged in the pre-production phase, focusing on meticulous preparations for the film. The filming in Kashmir is scheduled to take place over several days, during which the main cast will not be involved.” Given his absence from the Kashmir shoot, Kartik will prioritize the completion of promotional activities for his upcoming film, “Satyaprem Ki Katha,” slated for release later this month.
Meanwhile, the film, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, is still in the process of finalizing its cast after initial announcements were made on July 18 last year.
