SRINAGAR: Three militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Jan Mohalla area of in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday.
An official said that three militants were killed so far in the ongoing encounter at Jan Mohalla area of Shopian.
The identity and the affiliations of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at Jan Mohalla area of Shopian.
