SRINAGAR: Bollywood actor, Rahul Roy has survived a brain stroke while shooting in Kargil. He is admitted to a hospital in Mumbai after being flown from Kargil to Srinagar on Saturday.
Roy was in Kargil for almost a week. He was shooting for the film LAC – Live The Battle. Being jointly produced by Chitra Vakil Sharm and Nivedita Basur, the film is being directed by Nitin Kumar Gupta.
Media reports said the Aashiqui actor who is admitted to the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai is responding to the treatment. He was initially treat at Srinagar for many days.
In LAC-Live the Battle, Roy is playing the role of an army officer in the movie. It is based on the Galwan happenings this summer.
“LAC is based in Kargil and we are working under extreme weather conditions and due to covid19, we all are alert and cautious. The entire unit has been extremely hardworking and I can only show my gratitude towards them,” one actor, also part of the film, had written on social media.
