SRINAGAR: Unknown gunmen on Friday evening shot dead a civilian in Tral area south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
An official said that Shabir Ahmad Bhat, son of Mohammad Sideeq Bhat of Tral was shot outside his residence, leaving him severely wounded. He was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital. However, he succumbed to his injury on way to the hospital.
A senior police officer meanwhile said that a team has rushed to the spot and launched a manhunt to nab the assailants.
