A 67-year-old woman from Khanyar area of Srinagar, who was the first one to be tested positive for Coronavirus in Kashmir has now tested negative.
A doctor from Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Srinagar said that the Srinagar woman who was earlier tested positive has recovered and has tested negative now.
He said that woman would be kept in quarantine for a period of 14 days and after that, it would be decided whether to discharge her or not.
“Right now, we have 65 patients in our quarantine ward and 37 in the isolation ward,” he said. “These include six patients who are positive.”

He said 25 samples that were collected on Saturday were negative as per the results. Two patients were discharged.
As of now, J&K has reported 41 cases, of which two persons have died while two have recovered. As many as 29 cases have been reported in the Kashmir division while twelve cases were reported from Jammu.
