Transport workers protest against closure of SRTC yard

State Road Transport Corporation (SRTC) workers on Tuesday staged protest demonstrations against the closure of yard in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Scores of the workers affiliated with SRTC which include drivers and other workers gathered at Press Colony, shouting slogans against the closure of SRTC depot yard at Sopore.

The protesting workers said that closure of the yard has caused them an immense inconvenience. The protesters demanded an early release of the Sopore yard.
