Police on Monday claimed to have arrest two bovine smugglers and recovered 55 bovine animals from their possession.
Police said that during intervening night of July 29/30, 2018, Police Party of Sog Post Bhatta and Police Station Dessa laid a naka at Hingin gali Dessa and intercepted bovines smugglers identified as Gulzar Ahmed, son of Bashir Ahmed, a resident of Bartung Ramban and Javed Ahmed, son of Ghulam Mohd, a resident of Dhandal and recovered 55 bovine animals from their possession.
The official said that two were arrested from the spot, and two others identified as Khursheed Ahmed, a resident of Islamabad district and Abdul Lateef, a resident of Gurmal escaped from the Spot.
In this regard, a case under FIR No 13/2018 U/S 188 RPC, 3 PC Act has been registered at P/S Dessa and further investigations are going on.
