Rifle of bank guard snatched in Shopian

Unknown persons on Friday snatched a rifle from a bank ATM guard in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

“A group unidentified persons overpowered the ATM guard Muneer Ahmad of Jammu and Kashmir Bank main branch Shopian and snatched his service rifle (12- bore),” an official said.

He said that police have launched an investigation into it and the area was cordoned off by the forces to nab the assailants
