A dead body of a missing person was recovered on Saturday from Power Canal at Panzin area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, police said.
Missing youth found dead in Kangan
Police sources said that the body was spotted by locals at power canal USHP 2nd near Panzin Kangan.
They said after getting information about it police team reached the spot, and along with locals retrieved the body from the power canal.
He said that a missing person identified as Shakeel Ahmad Awan,(24) son of Mohd Aslam Awan, a resident of Satrina Kangan, was missing since July 9, 2018.
Police has registered a case and further investigations have also been taken up.
