Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday landed from Delhi to Srinagar.
Mehbooba had gone to Delhi to meet Kashmiri Pandits asking them to come back. “Because Kashmir is incomplete without them.”
She directly flew from Delhi was since Saturday.
After landing back to Srinagar Mehbooba had a detailed interaction with the administration and other senior officials.
“It was a high-level meeting with officers to review the situation in South Kashmir,” a senior minister told Kashmir Life over the phone.
Thirteen militants and four civilians were killed and over 100 persons sustained injuries during the encounters in Shopian and Islamabad districts of South Kashmir.
The minister added that chief minister directed the law enforcing agencies to avoid collateral damage while dealing with the situation.
Mehbooba also reviewed the status of the injured persons who were injured during encounters in South Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Joint resistance leadership has called for a valley-wide shutdown on Tomorrow.
