Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday arrested a drug peddler in Srinagar and seized charas from his possession.
The drive was conducted with the active participation of members of Shehri Khas Welfare Committee and Welfare Committee Makhdoom Sahab, a police spokesman said in a statement.
The spokesman said that during searches 205 grams of charas was recovered from his possession.
In this regard, FIR No 11/2018 under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered and investigation set into motion,the spokesman said.
