Three of a Batamaloo Family Die in Jeddah Road Accident, Three Others Critical

In a tragic accident in Saudi Arabia on Thursday, three of a Kashmiri family died while three others are critical in a hospital.

Close family sources told Kashmir Life that Bashir Ahmad Mir (40), who worked as Manager HR in Saudi KAD based in Dammam, had flown his full family to Saudi Arabia.

Bashir and his family were residents of Banpora Road Batamaloo, Srinagar.

His father, Muhammad Sidiq Mir and mother had flied to Saudi Arabia recently and the family was performing Umrah. His wife and two children were living with him in the kingdom for many years now.

All the family members were traveling during the day when they met an accident near Jeddah. He was on his way Madina Sharief with his family from Makkah Mukkaramah after performing Umrah, Sajid Ali, who is based in Saudi Arabia wrote on Facebook.

Bashir Ahmad Mir, his father Muhammad Sidiq Mir and daughter Maryam died on the spot while his mother, wife and another child are critical and hospitalised in King Abdul Aziz Hospital.

“He was great person who have helped hundreds of Kashmiris to initiate in his company,” a Kashmiri based in Saudi Arabia posted on Facebook.
