PDP’s Para calls for Holistic Approach to Solve Issues of Kashmir Youth

Ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) youth president, Waheed ur Rehman Para, on Friday called for holistic approach to solve the issues of youth of Jammu and Kashmir.

He was on an extensive tour of Pulwama and Shopian in south Kashmir today.

Para, while interacting with young from ten villages of these twin districts, expressed satisfaction over functioning of Government headed by Chief Minister, Ms Mehbooba Mufti, and said, “the government was working on a right track and is committed to address the governance and administrative deficit in the state.”

“Various reformative measures taken by government to streamline functioning of the system are worth appreciable and we hope things will start changing on the ground very soon,” Para said, while interacting with people.

He assured people that all the developmental projects promised by the party would be carried out in time bound manner, statement issued by PDP Youth wing said.

“Youth of Kashmir have a lot of expectations from the present government and the PDP would ensure to address their every issue in a time bound manner,” he said, “the government will take serious efforts to channelize the positive energies of youth for the development of the state and its institutions.”

He called upon the youth to come forward with their issues and suggestions for strengthening of the institutions, governance, social justice, security and upliftment of the downtrodden.

While interacting with sports enthusiasts in Chandgam village of Pulwama, Para assured the youth of all the developmental projects with regard to sports infrastructure.

He assured that infrastructure would be provided to them so that the young sports enthusiasts from valley can compete at the international level.
