Govt Not Serious About Education of Gujjar Community, Allege Volunteers

Scores of Education Voluntary members  Saturday held a protests demonstration in Lal Chowk  demanding regularisation of employment and permanent structures.

The protesters alleged that Government is not taking the programme of teaching children of Gujar Bakarwal community seriously.  “So far, there have been no permanent structures to teach the students,” they claimed.

They also alleged that there were no facilities for teachers to stay in areas which are inaccsessible.

Protesters demanded permanent structures and facilities for students as well as for the teachers, who otherwise stay in odd structures, provided by the locals.

They also demanded the implementation of 6th pay commission.
