Three People Killed in Border Firing in Jammu, Over a Dozen Injured

Atleast three civilians were killed and a 16 were injured after alleged firing across the border in RS Pura sector of Jammu on Friday.

Reports said that Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir Nirmal Singh, will be visiting RS Pura sector today, according to reports.

Meanwhile, heads of border guards of India and Pakistan are scheduled to meet in New Delhi from September 9, to discuss ways to ensure peace on the frontier which has been volatile over the last several months.

Pakistan has confirmed the dates for the meeting between DG BSF and DG Pakistan Rangers.

The DG-level talks will take place from September 9 to 13 in New Delhi, the sources said.
