Police lodged an FIR against Director Health Kashmir for an alleged sexual assault after it received a complaint from a Staff Nurse posted in the Islamabad district of South Kashmir.
“We received a complaint of molestation against the Director Health Services Kashmir, Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman on Thursday and registered a case against him,” police sources told Kashmir Life adding “case has also been lodged against two more officers of the health department posted in Islamabad.
Sources said that the case has been registered in Police station Shaheed Gunj, Srinagar after a staff nurse who is also the wife of a doctor.
Sub Divisional Police Officer, Shaheed Gunj, Imran Farooq confirmed that a molestation case has been registered against Director Health Saleem-ul-Rahman.
The case was registered Thursday evening after a staff nurse reported to police the sexual assault by Saleem.
“Case has been registered against two officers of the same department posted in Islamabad as well,” the SDPO said.
