SRINAGAR: A woman died, and another person was injured in a road mishap in Bijbehara, in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district this afternoon, officials said.
They informed GNS that an accident occurred near the Petrol Pump in Sangam Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to two individuals identified as Khatija Begum, the wife of Abdul Aziz Awan, and Bilal Ahmad Awan, the son of Mohammad Sultan. Both were residents of Rajouri.
The pair was swiftly evacuated from the scene to SDH Bijbehara, where Khatija Begum succumbed shortly after being admitted for treatment.
Confirming this, a police official told GNS that a case has been registered in this regard for further investigations. (GNS)
