SRINAGAR: An army man shot himself with his service rifle in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday night, officials said.
Quoting a police officer news agency GNS reported that the soldier, identified as Rakshit Kumar (22) resident of Samba Jammu, belongs to 2 JKLI shot himself with his service rifle at JACK 1 post, sub-sector Gohallan of Uri.
He said his autopsy is going on in sub-district- hospital (SDH) Uri.
He said a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been started.
