Raising another issue, Mushtaq said that the levy of tax on “semi-stitched garments is unwarranted as the same is not applicable anywhere in the Country.”

He added that such tax is intolerable and KCCI along with the Jammu Chamber of Commerce & Industry (Regd) would urge the finance minister, J&K to roll back the said tax on semi-stitched garments with immediate effect.
