JKP cricket tournament commences in Srinagar

The cricket tournament organized by Jammu and Kashmir police commenced with a friendly match played at Dilshad Sports Stadium Rainawari on Sunday.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by senior police officers including the SSP Srinagar Imtiyaz Ismail Parray, SP North , Srinagar Sajad Khalid,  SP South, Srinagar,  Ashish Kumar Mishra, SP Hazratbal Peerzada Naveed, SP East, Srinagar, Sheikh Faisal Qayoom.

According to police spokesman people in significant number attended the event.

The match was played between Rainawari Blues and Rainawari Reds in which  Rainawari Reds cricket team emerged as winners of the match.

The tournament according to spokesman  is aimed to tap the talent and to boost the sportsmanship among the youth of the city.
