SRINAGAR: On the occasion of Eid, the India and Pakistan paramilitaries exchange sweets at various border posts on the International Border, reports appearing in the media said. This indicates that the ceasefire is holding between the nuclear-armed rivals.
Reports said that on July 10, Border Security Force (BSF) and Pakistan Rangers – two forces guarding the frontier on either side, exchanged sweets at various border outposts (Bops) in Jammu. The posts that saw the sweet exchange are located in Samba, Kathua, RS Pura and Akhnoor sectors.
