SRINAGAR: Militants escaped after a brief gunfight with counter insurgent forces at SKIMS hospital in Bemina area of Srinagar, police said.
Taking to social networking site Twitter, Srinagar police wrote: “There was a brief fire fight between militants and security forces at SKIMS Hospital, Bemina. Terrorists managed to escape taking advantage of civilian presence. @JmuKmrPolice @KashmirPolice (sic).”
