SRINAGAR: Three militants were killed in an encounter with counter-insurgent forces at Pethseer area of Sopore town in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Tuesday.
An official said that three militants were killed so far in the ongoing encounter at at Pethseer area of Sopore town.
The identity and the affiliations of the slain militants could not be ascertained immediately.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces at at Pethseer area of Sopore town.
