SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education withholds all Board-related facilities for the academic session 2020-2021 of seven private schools over non-implementation of government, fee fixation committee orders, and “harassment” to parents.
According to an order issued by Joint Secretary JKBOSE, the facilities suspended by the board for the academic session 2020-2021 include entertainment of Registration Returns (RR), Permission-cum-Admission (PCA) forms of SSE (Class 10th), HSE-I (Class 11th), and HSE-II (Class 12th).
The action was taken against the private schools over the orders of Director School Education Kashmir for citing non-implementation of government/fee fixation committee orders and “harassment of parents”.
The seven schools suspended as per the order are Iqbal Memorial Institute (Boys & Girls Wings). Bemina, Srinagar, Holy Faith Presentation School, Canal Avenue, Rawalpora, Srinagar, Hat Trick Public School, Zakura, Srinagar, Tiny Hearts School, Tengpara, Bye-Pass, Srinagar, Green Valley Educational Institute, Illahi Bagh, Buchpora, Srinagar, JK Public School, Humhama, Budgam and Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School, Raj Bagh, Srinagar.
All the concerned shall not entertain any affairs of the above-mentioned Schools, till further notice from JKBOSE, the order reads.
The facilities shall remain suspended till these schools provide No Objection Certificate NOC’s from the office of the Director School Education Kashmir, reads the order issued by Joint Secretary JK BOSE.
