SRINAGAR: One person was killed and another injured when a tractor they were travelling in met with an accident in Poonch district of Jammu region on Friday, officials said.
They said that the tractor skidded off the road and fell into a gorge at Behrooti Balakote, leading to the death of Shoib Ahmed son of Mohammad Azam of Potha Surankote and injures to Mohammad Murtaza son of Faiz Mohammad of Panjni.
The injured was shifted to GMC Rajouri, SHO Mendhar Manzoor Kohli told news agency GNS. He also confirmed the death of Shoib Ahmad in the accident and said that a case has been registered.
