Soldier Dies In Border Shelling

SRINAGAR: An Army man was killed in Pakistani shelling at the Line of Control in Rajouri area, reports appearing in media said.

Confirming the death, defence sources have identified the slain soldier as Sepoy Rhin Kumar. He was hit by some projectile and was critically injured. He could survive and passed away.

Defence spokesman accused the Pakistani army of resorting to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Rajouri Sector during wee hours of Saturday, the day of Eid. The shelling was responded to.
