SRINAGAR: The armies of India and Pakistan on Thursday late evening exchanged fire along the Line of Control in Mendhar and Balakote sectors of district Poonch in Jammu division.
An official said that the Pakistan army opened fire along LoC at 8 pm today in Mendhar and Balakote sectors of district Poonch.
“The soldiers manning the fence also responded the fire strongly,” he said. However, there were no immediate reports of any damage from either side.
