No passes required for load carriers carrying essential goods: IGP Kashmir

Amidst the ongoing lockdown ordered by the government to prevent the spread of coronavirus, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir Vijay Kumar (IPS) on  Wednesday said that no passes are required for load carriers carrying Essential goods from Interstate or within the state.

IGP Kashmir said that “No passes are required for load carriers carrying essential goods from one state to another or within the state. However, they are not allowed to carry passengers. Driver and helpers are advised to carry a letter from the vehicle owner”.

He further said that this will help in uninterrupted supply of essential goods in JK. (GNS)
