Twenty-six more patients have tested positive for the dreaded virus in Jammu and Kashmir. With 26 more, the total number of Covid-19 positive cases reported on Saturday is 40.
Out of 40, 14 cases were confirmed at Viral Diagnostic Lab at SKIMS and 26 others at Chest Disease Hospital Dalgate.
Among the fresh cases include 21 from Anantnag, 5 from Srinagar, 7 from Bandipora, 3 each from Baramulla and Shopian while one is from Kupwara.
As of now, J&K has reported 494 cases, out of which 437 were in Kashmir and 57 in Jammu. Six have died, while 109 recovered. More than 65722 people have been kept under surveillance.
