A 68-year-old Covid-19 positive patient from Rainawari area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district died at CD hospital on Tuesday, taking the number of deaths due to novel Coronavirus disease to eight in Jammu and Kashmir.
An official said the patient was tested positive on Monday for novel Coronavirus disease.
“The patient was suffering from hypertension and other illnesses,” he said.

With her death, the number of casualties due to the novel Coronavirus has reached to eight in J&K.
Earlier, seven patients have died due to COVID-19 including six from Kashmir and one from Jammu.
