The armies of India and Pakistan on Monday exchanged fire along the Line of Control in Mankote sector of the district Poonch in Jammu division.
An official said that the Pakistan army opened by small arms along LoC in Mankote sector of Poonch district.
“The soldiers manning the fence also responded the fire strongly,” he said.
However, there were no immediate reports of any damage from either side.
