A 20 year old girl was found hanging at her home in Dandote area of Budhal in Rajouri district on Sunday.
An official said that a girl identified as Simloo Devi daughter of Bagmal Singh was found hanging inside her home during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
However, family members of the girl, after spotting her hanging inside the room, immediately rushed her to the hospital where doctors declared her brought dead, he said.
After conducting all legal formalities, the police handed over the body of the deceased girl to her relatives, said an official.
