The counter insurgent forces on Sunday launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) in Hamala Pati area of Rajwar in north Kashmir’s Handwara town.
Reports said that a joint team of army’s 21 RR, CRPF, and special operations group of Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned off Hamala Pati area of Rajwar in Handwara.
The search operation in the area was going on, however, it was not immediately known whether the area was seized following the inputs regarding the militants or it was a routine check.
