Vohra and Mehbooba greet people on Ramanavmi

Srinagar: Governor N. N. Vohra has felicitated the people on Ramanavami and prayed that this auspicious occasion would be the harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the state.

In his message of felicitations, the Governor said that the celebration of festivals, which are an important part of our glorious heritage, strengthen communal harmony and brotherhood and reinvigorate the secular ethos.

The Governor prayed for the well-being of the people of the state.

Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti also has greeted people of the state on the occasion of Ramanavmi.

In her message of felicitation, the Chief Minister said these festivals symbolize the pluralistic ethos of our society.

She hoped that these festivals further strengthen the bonds of amity, brotherhood and tolerance among the people.
