Srinagar: In wake of back to back statements from BJP national president and general secretary rejecting talks with separatists, RSS senior leader and national general secretary Ram Madhav Sunday landed in Srinagar and met chief minister Mehbooba Mufti at her fair view residence.
The meeting which lasted for nearly 25 minutes, sources said dup discussed the emerging situation.
However PDP insiders told Kashmir Life that tension between the coalition partner has heightened.
“Mehbboba Mufti is not happy the way BJP wants to deal with the situation,” PDP minister told Kashmir Life.
Though Mehbooba earlier this week met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Raj Nath Singh in New Delhi where she was “assured” of implementation of Agenda of Alliance, but senior BJP functionaries are continuously issuing statements against holding dialogue.
Madhav who met Mehbooba Satuday has posted on social media of “not holding dialogue with separatists” where as state minister in PMO Dr Jitendra Singh has stated “nobody would be allowed to demoralize security forces.”
“PDP s caught between devil and deep sea,” a youth leader of party told Kashmir Life.
