SRINAGAR: Mohammad Sidiq Sheikh, senior KAS officer, who was Special Secretary Finance is no more.
His Nimaz-e-Jinaza is scheduled to take place at Malik Market Jammu By Pass at 5 PM on Monday, family sources said.
Sidiq, a fine gentleman, was earlier posted as Deputy Commissioner Kargil. He was earlier Secretary BPE and was also looking after banking affairs in the finance ministry as well.
