Police recovers abducted girl

SRINAGAR: Police in south Kashmir Islamabad have recovered an abducted girl and restoted her to her family, a spokesman said here in Srinagar. The accused kidnpaper has also been rounded up.

Police Station Kokernag received a written complaint from one lady (name withheld) that her daughter was kidnapped by one namely Majid Khan son of Ghulam Mohammad Khan resident of Shangus Achabal.

On this information, Police Station Kokernag lodged a report and investigation was set into motion. After investigations, the police recovered the girl and arrested the accused. After completion of legal formalities, the girl was handed over to her parents.

A case FIR number 27/2017 under section 363/ RPC was registered in Police Station Kokernag, the spokesman said.
