Ahead of autumn session of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, the speaker Kavinder Gupta this past Saturday went to attend a fashion show. Flanked by BJP activist Yudhvir Sethi, Gupta had a ‘moment of respite’ while watching the show, a Jammu newspaper reported.
Gupta, reports said, had earlier also attended the fashion show. However, his presence in latest fashion show has set the tongues wagging even in the parivaar, saying, “His status should have encouraged him to break his routine.”

Fashion apart, the BJP speaker is anticipated to encounter a situation in the upcoming autumn session of JK Assembly beginning October 3 which is likely to put his managerial skills at test. Behind his apparent tough stay is the bill submitted by NC against the law that bans the slaughter of cows and the sale of beef in J&K.
