Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir leader and chairman Democratic Freedom Party Shabir Ahmad Shah has appealed international community to extent every possible help to flood-hit Kashmir.
“The devastating floods have caused tremendous loss here and I appeal international community to come forward to help rejuvenating the Kashmir,” Shah said in a statement issued to media on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, according to spokesperson of the amalgam, Shah along with party workers on Tuesday visited Pulwama, Sombora, Kemwah, Islamabad and Pampore areas to distribute relief there. He reiterated his appeal to people to unite in these “hard times” to overcome the loss suffered by natural calamity, the spokesperson said.
Shah also lauded the role of youth during this catastrophe and urged them to continue such endeavors, the spokesperson added.
