SRINAGAR
A man drowned while crossing a nallah in South Kashmir while a lady consumed poison resulting in his death, a police statement said on Sunday.
A 40 year old man Mohammad Yasin Wani son of Ghulam Ahmad Wani resident of Karim Abad, Pulwama got drowned in nallah Ramshi while crossing the nallah. The body was fished out and handed over to his legal heirs for last heirs.
Meanwhile, a lady (name with held) resident of Baramulla consumed some poisonous substance at her home. She was shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment where from she was shifted to SMHS Srinagar for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard, the statement added.
