SRINAGAR: A masjid and a residential house were damaged in a fire mishap in the Frisal area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday.
An official told the news agency Kashmir Scroll that a residential property caught fire at night, completely destroying it ” The fire soon spread damaging the rooftop of two story Jamia Masjid. It was brought under control after hours by police, firefighters, and locals.”
He said that the cause of fire is being ascertained.
