SRINAGAR: A youth died, while his uncle was injured, after their bulldozer came into contact with a live transmission line in the Padgampora area of Pulwama district on Thursday.
An official told the news agency KNO that the duo was on the bulldozer when it came in contact with the live transmission wire.
He further stated that they sustained critical injuries and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where the youth succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Sehran Ahmad (18), while his injured uncle has been identified as Abdul Rashid Dar from Larkipora Padgampora.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident. (KNO)
