SRINAGAR: A ‘recycled’ militant was arrested was in Bandipora district of north Kashmir on Saturday, police said.
A police spokesman in a statement said that a joint team of counter insurgent forces have arrested a recycled (militant) namely Imtiyaz Ahmad Beigh alias Ina Bhai son of Abdul Nawab Beigh of Beigh Mohalla Fatehpora, Baramulla.
The spokesman said that incriminating materials, arms and ammunition including one AK-47 rifle, 2 AK-magazines and 59 AK-rounds were recovered.
He said that investigation in progress.
