SRINAGAR: In an interesting development, Abdul Hamid Bhat, the founder of Raheem Greens has been appointed as Adjunct Faculty by the SKUAST-K. The tenure of the honourary position shall remain two years, an offer letter addressed to Bhat said.
The offer has been made in a letter written by Prof T H Masoodi, the Registrar of the SKUAST-K on April 26.
“In recognition of your vast contributions in area of entrepreneurship, education, healthcare, environmental sustainability, sports and plantation drives to revive green gold and as well as your acclaimed attributes of inspiring young minds, the university is pleased to offer you the position of Honorary Adjunct Faculty for a period of two years to imbibe thought-provoking manifestations to our students and the faculty,” the letter reads. “We look forward to you joining our university for sharing your experience to serve our broader social commitments.”
Bhat owns Rahim Motors and a number of other businesses.
