SRINAGAR: Three flights have been cancelled so far, while rest of the flights of all airlines have been delayed at Srinagar International Airport on Wednesday morning due to heavy snowfall and accumulation of snow on the runway.
Director Srinagar Airport told news agency they it is continuously snowing at the airport and there is low visibility as well, due to which three flights have been cancelled.
“Visibility is still 400M. The snowfall accumulation is continuous. We will wait for the snow fall to stop before taking decision on flight operations. Please expect next update at 1030,” he said.
He further said that three flights have been cancelled so far, which include G8-266/267, G8-357/358 and AI-3425/3426. (KNS)
