SRINAGAR: In the last 24 hours, only 29 deaths were reported as 1801 fresh cases of Covid19 infections were recorded from across Jammu and Kashmir.
Kashmir lost 14 citizens and Jammu 15 in the last 24 hours.

The trend of infected people outnumbering the fully recovered people continues. In the last 24 hours, as many as 2694 people recovered thus reducing the number of active cases to 30657. The recoveries included 886 cases in Jammu and 1808 in Kashmir.
Now the death toll of Covid19 in Jammu and Kashmir is 3992 people including 2045 in Kashmir and 1947 in Jammu.
In the last 24 hours, seven deaths took place in Jammu city and five in Srinagar city, the information revealed by the government said.
The district-wise details suggest that Kashmir lost four citizens in Anantnag, two citizens in Budgam, and one each in Pulwama, Kupwara and Shopian.

Apart from seven deaths reported from Jammu city, the region lost two citizens in Kathua, and one each in Rajouri, Doda, Samba, Reasi, Ramban and Kishtwar.
In the last 24 hours, officials said 1801 new Covid-19 positives were reported from across Jammu and Kashmir. Of them, Srinagar alone accounted for 329. Jammu, the other capital of the erstwhile state reported 153 cases.
Of the new cases detected in the last 24 hours, Kashmir accounts for 1247 cases against 554 of the Jammu division.
In Kashmir, the new cases include 148 from Baramulla, 194 from Budgam, 143 from Pulwama, 126 from Kupwara, 100 from Anantnag, 52 from Bandipora, 67 from Ganderbal, 76 from Kulgam, and 12 from Shopian.
From Jammu, officials said Udhampur reported 27, Rajouri 92, Doda 67, Kathua 46, Samba 15, Kishtwar 25, Poonch 55, Ramban 56, and Reasi 18.
Right now, Jammu and Kashmir has 30657 active cases, which includes 19524 in Kashmir 11133 in Jammu.
