SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir recorded 498 new Covid-19 cases including 209 from Jammu and 289 from Kashmir in the last 24 hours taking the total caseload to 313974, according to data released by the government on Wednesday.
As it continued with a declining trend of coronavirus infection, the Jammu and Kashmir reported seven deaths, five from Jammu and two from Kashmir.
The active cases have now come down below seven thousand. Jammu and Kashmir have 6,157 active cases presently and has witnessed 4291 deaths so far.
According to data, a total of 839 people have been discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total discharge to 30356 till date.
01new confirmed case of mucormycosis has been reported today, bringing the cumulative no of confirmed cases to 28 in the UT of J&K.
